Continuous Flight Auger Piles

continuous-flight-auger-piles.jpg

This type of pile is constructed with string of hollow stemmed augers which are bored into the ground, once the design depth has been reached concrete is pumped through the centre of the augers to base of the pile, the augers are then extracted whilst the concreting continues to ground level, reinforcement is then plunged into the cast concrete completing the pile. During the extraction process the pile formation is monitored by a state of the art computer monitoring system to ensure the pile is constructed correctly.

We offer diameters ranging from 300mm - 600mm diameter and depths of up to 25.0m.

Rotary Auger Bored Piles

Rotary Auger Bored Piles

This type of pile is constructed with a short solid stemmed auger, once the design depth has been reached the auger is removed from the bore and the pile reinforcement is placed read for concreting, once concrete has been introduced the pile is completed. Piles can also be installed with temporary casing to the upper 8m where ground conditions are unstable or have a high water table.

We offer diameters ranging from 350mm - 1200mm diameter and depths of up to 30.0m, we also have a selection of masts where low headroom conditions are required.
